About The Author:
Qadi Iyad, also known as Abu al-Fadl Iyad ibn Musa al-Yahsubi, is the author of "Ash-Shifa bi Tarif Huquq al-Mustafa". The renowned Islamic scholar Qadi Iyad was born in Ceuta, which is now in modern-day Morocco, in the 12th century. In addition to his contributions to the field of Islamic studies, Qadi Iyad was known for his in-depth understanding of Islamic law and jurisprudence. He was selected to serve as a judge (qadi) in the Spanish city of Granada, where he later rose to the rank of chief judge.
