The Sealed Nectar in Farsi – Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtoum

The Sealed Nectar (Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtoum) is the award-winning biography of Prophet Muhammad ﹡ by Safiur Rahman Mubarakpuri, first prize winner in the Muslim World League's worldwide competition on the Prophet's biography. This is the Farsi (Persian) translation, published by Darussalam, bringing the same chronological, primary-source account to Persian-speaking readers.

الرحیق المختوم (رحیق مُهر و موم‌شده)، نوشتهٔ صفی‌الرحمن مبارکفوری، سیرت پیامبر اکرم ﹡ است که برندهٔ جایزهٔ نخست در مسابقهٔ جهانی رابطهٔ جهانی اسلامی برای نگارش سیرت نبوی شد. این نسخه ترجمهٔ فارسی همین کتاب است که توسط انتشارات دارالسلام منتشر شده و همان روایت تاریخی و مبتنی بر منابع اصیل را در اختیار خوانندگان فارسی‌زبان قرار می‌دهد.

Why This Book Won First Prize

The Muslim World League invited scholars worldwide to submit new biographies of the Prophet ﹡, and hundreds of manuscripts were reviewed by the judging committee. Al-Mubarakpuri's manuscript was selected for the top prize, presented in Makkah in 1399 AH (1979 CE). Its combination of careful sourcing with a readable narrative style is widely credited for setting it apart, and the book has since been translated into more than twenty languages, including this Farsi edition.

رابطهٔ جهانی اسلامی از علمای سراسر جهان دعوت کرد تا سیرت‌های جدیدی از پیامبر اکرم ﹡ بنویسند و کمیتهٔ داوری صدها نسخهٔ خطی را بررسی کرد. اثر مبارکفوری برای دریافت جایزهٔ نخست برگزیده شد که در سال ۱۳۹۹ هجری قمری (۱۹۷۹ میلادی) در مکهٔ مکرمه اهدا گردید. ترکیب دقت در استناد به منابع معتبر با سبکی روان و خواندنی، دلیل اصلی برجستگی این اثر دانسته می‌شود و از آن زمان این کتاب به بیش از بیست زبان، از جمله فارسی، ترجمه شده است.

About the Author and Translators

Safiur Rahman Mubarakpuri (1942-2006) was born near Mubarakpur in Uttar Pradesh, India, and studied at Indian madrasahs before teaching at Jamiah Salafiyah in Banaras from 1974 to 1988. He later joined the Islamic University of Madinah's Centre for the Prophet's Biography, and worked as a research scholar for Darussalam in Riyadh. He authored around seventeen books in Arabic and Urdu before his death in 2006. This Farsi edition was translated by Hamed Firouzi and Mohammad Ebrahim Kiani, as credited on the title page.

صفی‌الرحمن مبارکفوری (۱۹۴۲-۲۰۰۶) در نزدیکی مبارکپور، در ایالت اوتار پرادش هند، به دنیا آمد و پیش از تدریس در جامعهٔ سلفیهٔ بنارس از سال ۱۹۷۴ تا ۱۹۸۸، در مدارس دینی هند تحصیل کرد. او سپس به مرکز سیرت نبوی دانشگاه اسلامی مدینه پیوست و به‌عنوان پژوهشگر برای انتشارات دارالسلام در ریاض فعالیت کرد. وی پیش از درگذشت خود در سال ۲۰۰۶، حدود هفده کتاب به زبان‌های عربی و اردو تألیف کرد. این نسخهٔ فارسی توسط حامد فیروزی و محمد ابراهیم کیانی ترجمه شده است، همان‌گونه که در صفحهٔ عنوان کتاب ذکر شده است.
