Riyad-us-Saliheen is one of the most universally treasured hadith compilations in Islam, originally compiled by Imam Abu? Zakariya Yahya bin Sharaf al-Nawawi (RA) and presented in this two-volume set by Darussalam Publishers.
It gathers approximately 2,000 authentic hadiths from the six major Hadith collections (Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawood, Jami' at-Tirmidhi, Sunan an-Nasa'i, and Sunan Ibn Majah), arranged into 372 chapters and 19 thematic sections that cover every aspect of Muslim life, morality, worship, manners, and spiritual development. This edition includes clear Arabic text with English translation and commentary, making it a practical reference for daily living according to the Qur'an and Sunnah.
What makes it essential:
- Comprehensive authentic hadith collection: Selects authentic narrations on faith, worship, manners, character, social conduct, repentance, patience, knowledge, supplication, etiquette, and more, making it a practical manual for righteous life.
- Structured for daily benefit: Organized into thematic chapters that allow readers to focus on specific aspects of belief and behaviour with direct reference to Prophet Muhammad's ? teachings.
- Translation with commentary: Presents clear translation and scholarly notes to help readers understand the meaning, historical context, and application of each hadith in everyday life.
Best comprehensive hadith reference for practical guidance on ethics, worship, and character according to authentic sources. Perfect for students of knowledge, mosque libraries, dawah learners, teachers, and anyone seeking routine spiritual enrichment and moral excellence rooted in Qur'an and Sunnah.

Haven't gone entirely through books but am expecting good value. The packaging and customer service was exceptional and arrived promptly. Highly recommended. Rather than read any modern waffle I'd prefer to go back to the collections and learn the narrators if I can otherwise one is likely to trip oneself and trip others.
