Authentic information is given regarding many different aspects from his life, as well as a mention of the legal rulings that were specific to the Messenger of Allah.

This Treatise has beeen extracted from An-Nawawi's Introduction to his Tahdhib al-Asma wal-Lughat, many notes have been added to it by Shaykh Khalid bin Abdu-r-Rahman Ash-Shayi and by the Translator Abu Rumaysah
