Introduction
From Humble Beginnings to Global Impact
As a preeminent global publisher of the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah, Darussalam requires no introduction within academic, religious, or publishing circles. Founded by Abdul Malik Mujahid in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the company has its corporate headquarters in both Riyadh and Lahore, Pakistan.
Recognizing the dearth of authentic Islamic publications and the lax quality standards prevalent in the market, Abdul Malik Mujahid envisioned a publishing house dedicated to rectifying this issue. Darussalam was established to fill this void, and it has since invested in state-of-the-art research facilities in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to ensure the authenticity of its materials.

Darussalam Founded
Darussalam was founded in 1986 by Abdul-Malik Mujahid in Saudi Arabia.
1992
Expansion into Global Markets
In 1992, Darussalam embarked on a significant expansion, establishing state-of-the-art publishing centers in Pakistan, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates. By establishing a strong international presence, Darussalam solidified its position as a leading global Islamic publishing house.
1999
The Sealed Nectar
In 1999, Darussalam published one of its most acclaimed publications,"The Sealed Nectar," a comprehensive biography of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) authored by Sheikh Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri. This remarkable work, which delves into every aspect of the Prophet's (S.A.W) life, was honored with the first prize by the World Muslim League. It remains a cornerstone of Islamic literature to this day.
